How to Get More Corporate Chauffeur Clients

Corporate accounts are the most stable, highest-margin revenue in the chauffeur business. Here's how small operators win them from the incumbents.

Why corporate wins matter

One mid-size law firm or PE office can equal 15 retail airport transfers a month — with net-14 invoicing, predictable schedules, and no card disputes.

Who buys corporate ground travel

Rarely the CEO. Usually:

  • Executive Assistants
  • Office Managers
  • Travel Managers
  • HR / People Ops (for events and relocations)

Market to them, not the C-suite.

The corporate checklist they'll ask you for

  • £5–10M public liability insurance
  • Hire & reward + fleet cover certificates
  • DBS/background-checked drivers with clean licences (evidence on file)
  • Data processing agreement (GDPR/CCPA)
  • Duty of care policy + incident reporting
  • Sample invoice with cost centre / PO field
  • Online booking portal with company approval workflow
  • Consolidated monthly invoice, net 14 or 30

If you can't send that pack in under 2 hours, you're not corporate-ready.

The 90-day outreach playbook

Weeks 1–2 — build the list

  • 50 target companies within 15 miles
  • Find EA / Office Manager names on LinkedIn Sales Navigator

Weeks 3–4 — first touch

  • Personalised email: 3 sentences + one-page corporate PDF
  • No calendar links in first message

Weeks 5–8 — value follow-up

  • Free airport transfer credit for the first booker
  • Case study of a similar-size firm
  • Offer to shadow their next event

Weeks 9–12 — close

  • 30-day corporate account trial, no commitment
  • Book a 20-min onboarding: rate card + approvers + billing setup

What kills corporate deals

  • No online booking portal (they'll stay with the incumbent)
  • No consolidated invoice (finance team says no)
  • Drivers not in suits
  • Late reply to a quote request (they test you)
  • No 24/7 phone number

Once you win

  • Quarterly business review with usage report
  • Named account manager
  • Priority dispatch for that company's bookings
  • Small thank-you at year-end (not a corporate hamper, something thoughtful)

Corporate revenue compounds. Two happy EAs at a big firm can bring in 10 more accounts through word of mouth over 18 months.
